Well, you probably already guessed that this was a title of a jewelry item I made with a few thrifted glass beads. It’s a pretty bold statement, but, I’ve made it with my own two hands and I think it makes a statement of my own.
To be honest, my jewelry is not something I made. I made it with a group of friends. It is very much a work of a group of people.
I suppose it would be nice if I could tell you that you made this out of a group of friends. I am not a fan of the idea of being a lone artist. I would rather see you making things with your own personal designs. The problem is, I don’t think I have any personal designs of my own. I’ve made some jewelry out of thrifted glass beads and I’m not sure if I even have designs of my own.
It doesn’t matter if you are a lone person making jewelry or if you are a group of people, it is important to know when you have a “own design” to what you are making. If you are making jewelry, you are not making a “work of a group of people.” Instead you are making yourself out of materials that you had no control over.
The problem is not that you have no control over whatever you are making, you just didn’t have the right materials. The problem is that you are using materials that you didnt have any control over. And that is why you have to be careful what you are making. If you were making a bracelet instead of a necklace, it would look like a real bracelet. If you were making a necklace to go with a dress instead of a bracelet, it would look like a real necklace.
It’s because of the jewelry that we are able to say we own jewelry. Not only because we are able to use materials we had no control over, but because we can use those materials to create something that actually looks like a real thing. And when we can do that, we can take control of our own lives, which is important because the world, and those who are in it, don’t necessarily seem to want to take control of it.
If we can learn to use our own resources and knowledge to create some of those things that we like to call “jewelry”—that is, things that we call “things” that we can wear, not just things we can steal—then we can change our lives, and not just our own, but the lives of others as well. We can make our own dreams come true.
We can learn to make our own money. (Which is a bit of a stretch, but hey, we’re talking about something that can actually be done right now.
Well it would be cool if we could somehow create our own gold, silver, and copper for ourselves, and then use those metals to make all sorts of stuff for ourselves. But it won’t happen since we’re not allowed to use them to make anything for ourselves. But hey, it’s still something.
So it’s still something. We can still make things. We can still create things. We still can make things. But we cant make them for ourselves.
